Mercury Nudging Your Mindset?

Mercury, the planet of communication, is currently retrograde in the sign of Libra. That means it appears to be travelling in reverse in relation to us. This happens 3 times a year and lasts about 3 weeks each time.

In plain language it challenges our mindset - its a time of misunderstandings, unforseen obstacles and uncontrollable events in areas that rely on communication - the internet, phone systems, appointments, travel, banking, legal issues, relationship discussions, mediation and contracts of any sort. If you work in these areas you'll probably feel it more. Naturally, its personal impact on you depends on your own chart. So if you get caught up in the frustration over the next few weeks, bear in mind that fighting this energy, and trying to force an outcome, will do your head in - Mercury wins everytime!

Of course the inner Drama Queen will just love it. There'll be plenty of chances for her to revel before Mercury goes direct again on October 15th.

So, how can we best use this time? Well its perfect for self-reflection. Taking time out to take stock of where we are in the flow of our lives and the bigger picture. Spend some time meditating, gardening, bush-walking - anything that helps you to feel earthy and grounded.

Meanwhile, its best to leave the big discussions and decisions until after October 15 - especially in relationships - breath and go with the flow!
